Kent & Lori Preston Indianapolis, IN Former Occupation: Teacher/Administrator
When Kent and Lori Preston joined Primerica in 1993, they were two professionals with master’s degrees, working long hours with no end in sight. "What we found was the harder we worked the more work we were given," Kent remembers. "We realized a regular job was not capable of getting us to our dreams. It felt like we were trying to win the Indy 500 driving a Model T."
"Seeing what we do for families and seeing how many successful leaders Primerica has are two things really demonstrate the power of Primerica."
Kent quickly realized that Primerica was the place where he could make his dreams come true. "It was a combination of seeing what we do for families and seeing how many successful leaders Primerica has," he says. "Those two things really demonstrate the power of Primerica."
"Being a part of Primerica is like painting an empty canvas," Kent describes. "The canvas is our lives; we both have a paintbrush and we get to paint our family's dreams and help others to paint their dreams as well. Of course the paint may splatter at times and not everything will go as planned, but when the dreams are painted the hard work is forgotten. Our family motto is ‘Life’s an empty canvas — paint your dreams.’"
